The coast is of course charming and beauty could be preserved despite the large tourist presence in the region. Cruise ships calling at Corsica in spring and autumn in the plans of the mini-cruises departing from Savona, Genoa, Nice or Marseilles. Ajaccio is the preferred port of the cruise companies with available infrastructure. However, small companies such as Club Med II will gladly stop in the small picturesque ports as Calvi.
