Bulgaria is the most enigmatic of countries in the East: the last terra incognita in Europe. Throughout its history that it happens thirteen centuries, Bulgaria has played an important role in the region. Its geographical situation is a natural bridge between the East and West, North and South is a small village, populated by only 8.3 million inhabitants on a territory as large as one-fifth of France. Bulgaria was liberated from the yoke Otomo only in 1876, thanks to the Russian army. Since then, the country has retained a kind of recognition towards the eternal big brother.
